Do I have to report a garden shed?
Whether a garden shed has to be reported depends on what changed. Damage, a theft, and anything that changes what is in the home or what the building is, all get reported. Nothing else does.
A shed is insured as an outbuilding, and what is inside it is insured under a different amount from what is inside the house.
