Do I have to report a burst pipe?
Whether a burst pipe has to be reported depends on what changed. Damage, a theft, and anything that changes what is in the home or what the building is, all get reported. Nothing else does.
With a burst pipe the useful photograph is the one taken before the water is cleared, and the useful note is the time the water was shut off.
