Locking up a garden shed
Locking up a garden shed properly is a smaller job than replacing it.
A shed holds the things a household has stopped thinking about, which is why the list of what is in there is always a surprise.
It is insured as an outbuilding, and the amount that applies to what is inside it is not the amount that applies indoors.

Worth doing
- Photograph the inside from the doorway, then from each corner.
- Write down the make and the model of anything with a motor in it.
- Fit a lock that has to be cut rather than pulled.
- Keep nothing in there that would be hard to replace.
